3-Adding a Vowel Suffix  

HOW TO PLAY
  1. Click on each Spinner, so that you have a word and a suffix.
  2. Ask: Is this a real word? most combinations are not
  3. Ask: Do you need the doubling rule? Why/Why not?
  4. Add-on when student secure with the rule: What suffix could you use to make a real word? Do you need the Doubling Rule? Why or why not?
